Fitting brides is fun, but it can be challenging. My job is to offer the best suggestions and advice during the time we have together.
A fitting does not need to be painful. Quite the contrary, I like to keep them fun and even surprise my clients with new ideas.
This is where I excel. I have worked in this profession all my life and feel highly confident about my skills as a stylist. Years of experience help me size someone almost immediately and be able to suggest the best styles for their figure.
Most of the time brides are very open to interesting suggestions and options.
Fittings starts with a short interview, (a lot of things can be said but analyzing what is not said is my ‘forte’). I listen attentively to the bride’s general views and ideas.
The client is never 100% sure about what they’re looking for, insecurities abound, but patience works towards establishing a fair and easy level of communication that puts my clients at ease.
It takes time to figure out the best style to match their venue, how they visualize themselves on their big day, and much more. I make sure I keep my brides-to-be feeling confident as we go through the process to a successful outcome.
